Ugh.. I think all of the series I watch are done for the season. Now all I have to look forward to are Doctor Who (which I don't count as a TV series because I get it from the internet), and upcoming movies.

Hey... I think Blood Ties is still going for a while? Go Tanya!

7th Heaven is finally going to TV Heaven!

Don't picture this as the death of the show, but more like the ascention. The show rose from the dead last year after being cancelled on WB, it returned for one more year on CW to shre the good news with a new flock of wayward youths.

Here are a couple of the prebuilt home theater pc (htpc) solutions that I've found. Like I said before, they are too expensive. But they give me ideas...

Anyone want to help me build a SageTV system?

I've never build a PC before. I was looking at different website to see what it would cost to purchase a prebuilt system, but that quickly became scary!

My goal right now is to at least get the central Home Theater PC setup when we move in. Then the seller can program the remotes and such so the home theater will be fully functional right away. I will also have SageTV client and Placeshifter software so we can watch TV on other networked PCs in the house. Eventually I want to add media extenders (when HD versions come out) or attach client PCs to other TVs in the house.

Anyone interested?

Today is a sad day.The mother of television died.

What ever you may think about the quality of modern television programming, you can't deny that Elma and Philo Farnsworth invented a mighty tool
