Stargate Atlantis Season 5 spoiler )

When this show first started I thought it was a pretty pale comparison to SG1, but like its predecessor, it's taken a few years for it to find it's pace and style. Though, even now Atlantis can have some real clunker episodes, but they've managed to build some really nice story arcs that haven't relied on inter dimensional "ascended" gods to start a holy war on their butts.

Upgrade to 16GB iPhone Without Extending Contract
posted by arn on Wednesday February 06, 2008 02:58 PM

After some initial confusion, iLounge received clarification from AT&T regarding the possibility of replacing your current iPhone with a 16GB one.

Mark Siegel, Executive Director of Media and Analyst Relations with AT&T, told iLounge in an email, “If you upgrade from an 8 to a 16 GB iPhone, you sign a new contract. However, we automatically backdate it to the starting point of your contract on the 8 GB phone.” He added that the company “will make every effort to ensure that our reps provide customers with the correct information,” and clarified that customers should activate the SIM card that comes with the new model.

Okay...so say you replace your 8GB iPhone with the new 16GB iPhone. What do you do with the old one?

Are the iPhones going to become the new Razr? That practically give old model Razrs away in cereal boxes now.

"Buy new Kellog 'cRaZZeY cHPz' cereal and get a few iPhone!"

A week and a half ago, the Star Tribune printed an article by Katherine Kersten titled Check out the scratching and biting scene at "Kinky U.

If you don't know who Kersten is, she a Strib metro columnist since 2005. She is conservative in her viewpoints, which of course means that her Kinky U article doesn't paint this student group in a favorable light.

Kinky U is a subgroup of the University of Minnesota's LGBT Queer Student Cultural Center. Participants don't need to be LGBT to get involved with Kinky U though. The groups purpose is to provide a safe space for students into kink, and to have discussion and demonstrations of kink practices in a safe environment.

I'm passingly familiar with the group. One of my Aton brothers, Bobbie, has been invited by Kinky U on several occasions to give talks or demonstrations on specific kinks. Bobbie is a great trainer, and it very good at making sure that safety and health is always the first consideration.

It's sad that Kinky U's first public article has to be written by Kersten.

Update: A friend just sent me a link to a City Pages article about Kinky U that directly references Kersten's article.

Note to self:

Check out Bob Mould's new album
Check out the iTunes link off of the Blowoff.us website (can't do this at work since iTunes is banned.)

Ok... when did Bob Mould turn into a hotty?

Hmm... he's going to be at First Avenue on March 5. Maybe we should go check that out.

Yes, this is the same Bob Mould from Hüsker Dü and Sugar .

Obviously I'm not to busy at work today. I was surfing the entertainment section of Startribune.com and saw the writeup for the Mika concert, which was last night.

Joe had mentioned the concert to me, but I kind of blew it off because I had no idea who Mika was, and I didn't have time to go check out his music. To bad, because now that I have check out his music I would love to see him in concert. Doh!
