Enjoying the Monty

Is it wrong to say that I really enjoy the music from the musical version of "The Full Monty"?

"You Walk With Me" is just beautiful, and even more so because it is sung between two men. "Jeanette's Showbiz Number" is a hoot, and was even funnier on stage. "Breeze Off the River" is a really touching as a song between a divorced father who is trying to stay connected with his son. And "Big-Ass Rock" is a true tribute to friendship... or at least the length a guy should go for he best friend.

I love the music to "The Full Monty"! I saw it on Broadway and it was a surprisingly touching and heartfelt evening in the theatre. I especially like the love song the big guy sings to his stomach:)

I regret not having seen it. I do have the cast album though and also like it a lot.
