Avenue Q tonight

We're off to see Avenue Q tonight. I'm very excited about this. I've been wanting to see Avenue Q for a few years now. I had an opportunity the last time we were in New York City, but we saw Wicked (which still starred Indina Menzel as Elphaba) and Bombay Dreams instead. Of course, I've listened the cast album a million times, so it will be interesting to hear the difference between the album and the live performance, and hopefully fill in the missing story elements.

Edit: I should add that we're going with musicbearmn's group. A big thanks to Dan for arranging this!

ARGH! That's exactly why I want to see it, but it has sold out here in Philly (of reasonably priced tickets anyway). I'd consider it a great kindness if you would post about what happens that's not clear from the cast album.

There's quite a bit of good stuff that's not included in the cast recording at all - and of course the visual aspects will have you laughing all night. You'll love it. Have a great time.

I too knew the music for quite awhile. The show was surprising in that there is really a lot more to it, than what you can gather from the music. Enjoy!
