Joe and I have been spending the last two hours working on this puzzle. I need to give up and drive home so I can sleep. I think Joe is going to work on it a while longer.

Laurel and Ctein are using the audio measuring to measure how far their OLPCs are from each other.

I finally got my ass to Minicon at 6:30pm, sadly too late to visit the dealers room and artshow. I spent too much time today playing with the new TiVo's. The Comcast installer finally showed up around 2pm, and then spent 1.5 hours working with the TiVos to get the working with the new multistream cablecards.

Then I started playing with coverting a downloaded Torchwood divx file to play on the TiVo. This required converting the file to mpeg 2, and the triggering the trandfer of thefile from the PC to TiVo, which appears to take a long time. I wonder if that can be sped up.

Now I'm sitting in the a Deconstructing Identity in the Future panel wit Elise Matthesen and Eleanor Arnason. Hense the picture.

Edit: Great... now my phone is posting LJ entries on its own. I guess that's better than it making random calls to my friends.

We're docked back in Fort Lauderdale. It was a great week of hanging out with our friends Sam & Andrew and Jeff & Jeff, who were also our table-mates this cruise.

Bruce Valanch was our group entertainment, and he was very fun. Now we have to get our butts off the boat.

We've landed and are now in the mass waiting for our luggage.

I'm playing with the Live Joural mobile application that just came out for Window Mobile devices. So far so good.

I finally figured out how to get my Cingular 8125 to work as modem for my laptop, via a bluetooth tether connection.

Now, the real question is this something that I want to do, and is it worth the cost?

My friends out there who use Cingular and tether your laptop. Have you been charged for it? I have the Media Max package for $19.99, which has given me unlimited net acces on my PDA phone for the last year.
