You know... I really hate waking up to bad news. My sympathies go out to London.

(Geez... now I'm really glad we didn't go ahead with our trip to Worldcon, since we were planning to stop in London. I bet its going to be weird there for at least a couple of months.)

My spouse, my MIL, and three of my kids plan to be there in a bit over a month. I'm not sure yet how I feel about that, but I don't think they will change their plans.

I don't think they are in additional danger. I think it will just be more difficult for them to get around in London. Beyond the obvious issue of parts of the Underground being closed because of the damage, I expect that security will be very tight for a while.
