I had a bowl of chicken soup, and it was good. Now I,'m watching a D-List marathon on Bravo. Kathy was just eating a bunch of strange Danish food, and it was making my tummy unhappy.

I almost didn't make it through the soup, but the whole feed a fever, starve a cold thing kept ringing through my head.

keep up with the warm fluids. are you able to take some tylenol or other fever and ache reducing medicine?

I've always heard/remembered it as "Feed a cold, starve a fever".

But then, everyone knows that chicken soup isn't food - it's medicine.

The whole feed/starve a fever/cold is a bunch of bunk. Fever or cold, you need nutrition to keep up the fight against the invaders! So soup it up and get back to bed!
