Bad joke heard on the radio this morning

A Norwegian calls the hospital to tell them that his wife is in labor.

Hospital: Is this her first child?
Man: No, I'm her husband, stupid!


(And don't ask me why it's a Norwegian. That's the way it was told on the radio. Norwegian humor is fairly common in Minnesota, usually told by Norwegians.)

Gas prices, again

The price of gas in Eden Prairie shot up to $2.17 some time between 8:30am and 11:30am.

After lunch I drove to Chanhassen, next city out, and gas was still at $1.90. Needless to say, I fueled up.

Is it just me, or do gas prices typically increase on Wednesdays?
