The trainer really kicked my ass yesterday at the gym. She had me run... yeah... RUN!!! She had me jump rope for 30 seconds, which is tougher than it looks, then run a lap, and repeat that cycle two more times. My heart was racing and I was wheezing... it wasn't a pretty sight. Then we went back to the weight floor and did samplings from my primary and secondary workouts, evaluating where we could add more weight.
I really need to sit down and do my research on the major body muscles. I've never had a good grasp of the names. I feel like an idiot when I try to describe to the trainer where I'm feeling especially sore or such. "My leg hurts... the lower muscles... the ones behind the leg... they're tight." She replies "Oh... your calves are tight. We can work on that with some stretches."
