Integration headache
Feb. 26th, 2006 05:00 pmI can't seem to make or receive calls on my Cingular phone this afternoon. I initially thought something was wrong with my new phone, but when I called Cingular's After-hours customer support line, we went through the usual steps of checking out the phone (remove and replace the battery and sim card), but that didn't help. Then the lady went off for a few minutes to do research and discovered that all 6 of the nearest towers are going through "integration" right now (what ever that means). To confirm that it wasn't my new phone, I also tried my old phone, and still got no signal. So, no cell phone use today for Drewan, I guess.
Any other Minneapolis Cingular customers having this problem? I was able to make a call when I was downtown very early this afternoon, but as soon as I hit south Minneapolis, I've had no signal.
