Last night I was trying to partition my MacBook Pro's hard drive with Boot Camp, so I could reinstall Windows and City of Heroes. Well, it didn't work. It came back with some kind of error telling me that it couldn't partition the drive and that I should back up my data and restore the drive. Well, thankfully my drive seemed to be fine and everything was running as normal. But, I've always kind of regretted not doing clean installs when I first got the Mac (I let it do a system transfer from my old Mac). So today I've decided to start over with the system. I already had most of my data backed up (a pre-travel requirement!), so I just backed up the few new files, and did a system restore. Fun!
Now I'm waiting for the System Updates to complete. Then I'll run Boot Camp and get the drive partition setup. It is so nice to see how much room I have on my hard drive when I don't have all my other software installed.
