Off we go

I dropped Gabby of at perkk's last night for his week and a half of doggy time. She was exploring his room pretty thoroughly and being her typical weird self.

We had time for one episode of Chuck while we ate dinner, then Joe and I spent the rest of the night packing, loading iPods, printing boarding passes, and generally wandering around wondering if we forgot something.

Since no one came forward to take us to the airport this morning, we called a cab and then managed to sleep for about three hours. We woke up at about 4:15 and the cab picked us at 5:15. Beth was right, the cab was about $15.

The holiday travel crowd wasn't to bad. We had the pleasure of listening to carollers while waiting in the security check point line. The line was about twice as long, but move pretty fast.

Now we are sitting on the plane and Joe's chatting with the guy next to him. I'm hoping to sleep most of this flight to Houston, then we catch a connecting flight to Jackson.

In Jackson

We've arrived safe and sound in Jackson. The flight in from Houston was a bit bumpy, and came in a little fast, but otherwise good flights.

My sister, Dana, is home from the hospital, but she didn't get enough sleep in the last two days, so we're going to check into the hotel first before heading to the hotel.
