tap tap tap Is this thing on?

I set up this Dreamwidth account quite some time ago when I saw so many of my old Live Jornal friends migrating here, fleeing the revolting Russian take over of LJ. I had long (mostly) abandoned my LJ account in favor of the bountiful fields of Facebook, but I occasionally feel pangs of fondness for the good ole days of LJ.

I have only connected with a few of my old LJ friends here on DW. It isn't the rich network of friends and interactions that I had on LJ or Facebook.

I'm tired of the Facebook business, but I still enjoy the social interactions. I keep having to remind myself that I'm the product, not the customer.
