While Joe takes a nap, I'm watching "Extreme Homes Down Under" on HGTV. They just reviewed Firtz Eisenhofer's dome home on the Kapiti Coast in New Zealand. This is a sci-fi-wonderful home with in my opinion.
Joe's still napping, but I didn't sucome to the coma. I'm sitting in the tv room looking through more stock photography based on the list we came up with.
When my father retired from the Navy, we moved to Blackduck, MN and he proceeded to build a dome home that we lived in through my high school years. It had cool space but was a bear to heat in the winter. He also looked into subterranean homes while coming up with the plan but didn't combine the two.
