Yes, I finally made it to DC. Dulles was a bit of an ordeal. The cab line took about and hour, but thankfully my ground transportation voucher from Northwest covered the cab ride to the hotel.
We had dinner at Annies Steakhouse, including a nice round of happy birthday and cheesecake. Then we went over to the Green Lantern for drinks, and finally crashed a bit early. It was a long day and I needed the extra rest.
Today we got up around 10am, and headed out of the hotel at 11. We caught some breakfast on the way to the Holocaust Museum.
The Holocaust Museum was as impactfull as I remember. We spent about three hours there. The museum was full of school groups, who are never as respectful as I think they should be. But I hope they were able to at least pick up something from the experience.
Now we are stopping for a little lunch on our way to the National Gallery.
