MAL postscript

MAL was a bit different this year. I had a more difficult time getting into social mode for the events. I tended to retreat to the safety of my friends rather than going out an meeting new folks. This might have been a result of my birthday, the weather, or other factors. Thankfully my club brothers were great this year, and we managed to function has a group this year rather than everyone running off to do his own thing.

It was also great to be able to spend so much time with fj this weekend, especially since he's about to move overseas next week. Thanks, FJ!

(Wow... sometimes I think my iPod is physic! Elia Fitzgerald's Blue Skies just started playing. Just what I needed to hear.)
