Not much going on in my life right now.
Work is crazy busy. I have a couple large video projects due by mid-September, and I just can't seem to get much progress done on any of them. Getting content is like pulling teeth around here.
Yesterday during lunch a bounced over (well, drove... but you get the idea) to Barnes and Noble to pick up Steven Gould's 2004 book, Reflex, which is a sequel to Jumper. I thought I would take a few days to read it, but when I got home I ended up reading the whole thing last night. So much for having a new book to read during lunches this week.
Last weekend we finally booked our WorldCon trip. We're flying in before the con to spend some time with local friends, then we're moving into the Con hotel to stay with some other out-of-town friends. We'll probably hit Disney at some point, plus the usual West Hollywood gay stops. It should be fun. The best thing about the trip... I'm missing a stupid event here at work, yay!
My back is starting to feel better, almost back to normal. I'm thinking about going to Yoga class tomorrow night. I can't quite get myself back into my work out routine. Last time I tried to get back into it, I re injured myself. Maybe I should try just doing half-weight at first for the first week or so.
I've let my full beard grow back. I was liking the Fu Manchu style, but it was starting to get lazy about shaving. I keep thinking about going back to the Fu Manchu... just can't decide. Maybe I'll stick with the full beard for a couple months again, at least through my September work trip. Maybe I should go back to a shaved head. (Just kidding, Joe!)
Blah... enough writing. Back to work.
