Got out of bed at 5:50am this morning, after hitting the snooze alarm several times. A few days ago I decided that today is a good day to get back to my exercise routine, so I threw on some sweat shorts (the elliptical trainer is in front of a window) and "ran" for half an hour while watching last Thursday's View on the laptop (thanks to Slingbox). I burned off 400 caleries. Due to my extra snoozing, I didn't have time for my mat work, but we have Yoga class tonight, so that should cover that need.

I've been watching my weight slowly creeping up and up for the last year. I finally hit a solid 170 again, which is 10 pounds over what I weighed last year at this time. I actually like being this size, but I want to lower my body fat and increase my muscle mass a bit.

I'm sure this is exciting to read about, but I just want to get some of my thoughts "down on paper."
