At Southdale Apple Store
Oct. 26th, 2007 04:56 pmI'm sitting in line outside the Southdale Apple Store (Edina, MN). When I got here I was the fifth person in line. Now the line us up to about fifteen people. Suprisingly, I'm the only geek with his laptop out. I thought everyone would be sitting here surfing the web while waiting for the store to reopen.
According to the first person in line, a woman by the way, the store has been closed since 4pm. We expect that they are changing displays and other Leapard related things.
Each person in line will be getting a shirt when they leave the store. The great thing this year is that they actually have different sizes of shirts, and not the one size fits all approach of pervious product announcements. I had a few Apple t-shirts from the Mall of America store openings, which I gave to Eric a couple years ago. I think he still wears them.
The only problem with sitting on the hard mall floor is that my lefts are falling asleep.
