Can't decide
Feb. 5th, 2008 04:14 pmHelp! I need one of those handy websites that surveys me on issues and then tells me who to vote for.
Edit: I just took Minnesota Public Radio's Select A Candidate quiz, but of course it came back evenly for Clinton and Obama. They both received a score of 14.
I can't decide who to support tonight. Obama or Clinton. They are both excellent candidates, but for very different reasons. I've hated the negative attacks from both camps, so that's why I was going to go support Edwards, but that is no longer an option.
I also want to support a candidate who has a real chance to win. I'm tired of voting for someone who looses (Gore and Kerry). I'd like to think that there is no way America would vote in another Republican, but that's what I thought four years ago.
Neither Obama or Clinton are perfect. Neither is ideal on GLBT equal rights. Where Clinton has experience and connections, Obama has fresh ideas.

minnehaha LJ earlier, I want a Clinton/Obama ticket, but I doubt that either of them will be willing to be Vice President under the other. That's too bad.
The best thing that these two have going for them is that they aren't Bush, and aren't Republicans.
Ugh... I don't know if I am fully comfortable support either Clinton or Obama at this time. I'll support who ever the Democrat party chooses, but there isn't a big enough difference between these two for me. Maybe if one of them fully support ENDA (including protections for Transgenders!), and equal marriage rights, then I could get get behind that person.
Maybe I'll just go see a movie tonight.
