New Orleans canceled. Longer stay in Dallas?

Northwest has issued a weather waiver for all flights to, from, or through New Orleans from August 28 through October 31, 2005.

So, now I have two options. I can just fly back to Minneapolis on the September 22nd when my work trip is done. Or I can stay in Dallas for the weekend... if I can find some place to stay (the convention hotel that I'm staying in for the week is full starting Thursday night thanks to another convention.)

Joe is thinking about coming down with me for the week. I'm not sure what he's going to do, I guess he'll just tool around Dallas. Or... he'll just lay by the pool for the week, which could be plenty of fun.

Anyone in Dallas want to play tour guide and host?

We would play host but we have a small 2/1 (1300 sq ft) and the second is the office. (complete with rack for servers and desk) However, if you are going to be in town, we would love to hang out with ya'll. I am sure we can find something to do on the weekend.

Unfortunately, my best Dallas connection left for Reno about 2 years ago, and just this summer moved to Baton Rouge (talk about timing). My other Texas connections tend to be around Houston (Montrose) and Austin.
