Heroes on iTunes

Looks like we won't have to wait until the broadcast date to see NBC's new series Heroes. Turns out that NBC is going to offer a free download of the pilot episode on iTunes starting September 1st.
So, if you haven't already downloaded a copy of the critics screener from bit torrent, this will be your chance to check out this great new series.
(You know that something getting this much hype is going to be dropped from the schedule by spring. This is NBC, ya know! The network that doesn't give any SF genre shows a real chance to build an audience!)

Date: 2006-07-31 02:54 pm (UTC)Oh-- speaking of hype-- some new series premieres are going to be available early via Netflix, which is another interesting way of marketing them.
Given how many series this season are serialized things you really have to see from the beginning, I think the shows that get out there first will have a definite advantage.
