Has anyone else run into a problem with Flash images not appearing correctly on your webpages?

I have this work site where the imbeded flash image just doesn't show up on the page after I publish it to the server. When I look at the source code, the flash image source is there, but it's just not displaying. It displays fine on my local copy the page though.

Anyone have any ideas?

have you recently updated your ie browser?

microsoft did this totally AWESOME thing in which you now have to click on all embedded content in order to 'activate' it. you know, for security.

it's totally SO COOL, i LOVE IT SO MUCH.

if that's the problem then you can fix it with some javascript in the page.

I haven't noticed it as stopping the flash from running, just from interacting (rollovers and the like).

i think it just shows the first frame of whatever happens to be there. (?)

but clicking on it should make it work normally.

You did make sure to upload the .swf file as well as the webpage and the link to the .swf file is pointing to the right directory on the website?

I might be unbelievably hansom, but I'm not stupid! ;)

Yes, all files were in place.

It looks like its and issue with how IE now handles Flash.
