When I got my Windows Mobile 5 based phone last year, I signed up for a one your membership at 4smartphone.net, which is a third party Outlook Exchange server for e-mail. It's been really nice to have all my personal e-mail go to that server, and then I can access that from home, work, or mobile.

My membership is about to expire on Friday. I can't decide if I want to pay the $83.88 renewal fee.

I'm kind of thinking about maybe running all my mail through Gmail (Google's mail service), but the only non-web browser way to access that requires POP3, which is no better than just picking up the mail from my own webserver. The advantage is that Gmail has GREAT spam filters.

I need to see if I can find a WM5 application that can directly access Gmail.
