No. I'm not buying an iPhone today.

Yes, I did visit the Apple Store at Southdale over lunch. I had a legitimage business reason to be there (bough Final Cut Studio 2 upgrade).

Yes, I was tempted to hop into the iPhone line. But I didn't!

Personally, I just don't understand why people have this compulsive need to be reachable, 24/7. I only broke down and got a cell phone last year.

I got suckered into carrying a pager for a previous job, and I hated it - especially when everyone else threatened to quit if they were made to carry it while I was on vacation, so I was on call while playing in the North American Bridge Championships.

If I can help it, I'll never get a Blackberry.
