Ugh! Just read about several men attacking "Azia" and "Temple" owner Thom Pham. That is just bizarre! Why would they attack this guy? Because he's gay? Because of his restaurants? Does he have some enemies out there?

Nasty stuff.

My first thought was "I guess those people who walked out on the tab have some mean friends," but it seems more likely it was a gang thing.

I suppose he could've been targeted because of the media attention that one story got, for one reason or another. Or it could've been a random thing.

My thought was, they were probably trying to rob him, since he owns/works at 2 restaurants and he was leaving late.

But then again, most restaurant managers do the deposits in the morning.
