Wrapping up vacation, looking forward to Tivo's

We are still in Florida for a few more hours. We've left Sam and Andrew's this morning and are now relaxing back at Joe's parent's home while we wait until we head to the airport. Actually, I'm relaxing while Joe is handling some computer tech support on their computers.

When I get home I'll have my two Tivo HDs waiting for me at work. I've been surfing this afternoon looking at what I will need to do to get these fully setup on our network and accessible from our Macs and PCs.

Looks like the TivoToGo function isn't fully enabled for Macs without third party software, but that still seems pretty easy.

Can any of you point me to your favorite Tivo network guides? What software do you have running on your Mac or PC?

Bring good weather home from Florida! It snowed again last night. Luckily a lot of it has melted already... but its the point of things.

I dunno about the TiVo part... I have an entire season of Ugly Betty sitting on mine that I want to pull off and burn to DVD, but there's a two fold problem with that.

1) The transfer (from TiVo to Mac) per episode seems to take a day or so. There's got to be a faster way to pull it off.

2) When I tried to use the Roxio solution to burn it, they wanted to use a whole DVD disc per episode, which seems excessive.

i use titantv.com, but not sure about tivo since i use eyetv directly through the mac. i love it!!
