I Bought A House at Minicon!
Apr. 17th, 2006 10:58 amThat's what I should have titled my entry yesterday! Ugh.
Conducting all this house offer business during Minicon really distracted us from the convention. We left opening ceremonies early to meet with our realtor for the first offer, and then kept getting calls while attending panels with subsequet offer negotations. The final deal was made during the closing cermonies time, but we were already away from the hotel at
romeoa and
cleo's BBQ.
We spent a lot of time talking with friends about the house during the con. B. was giving us some stern bargining advice, which I wasn't very good at. He correctly pointed out that I should never be a poker player. But after a certain point, I let Joe deal with the realtor, which definitly saved us a bit of money.
