Dan, I've never read your blog before today. A friend linked from their Live Journal to your Gay Millionaires Club story on NYPress.com. After reading the article, which I liked by the way, I Googled the authors name. I was surprised to see it was written by Dan... Dan from Real World.
Your season of Real World was probably the last season that I watched religiously. I was no longer enjoying the drama. Maybe it was me... maybe I had grown past it, or maybe the show had ramped up the drama beyond what I could handle.
My husband and I usually tune in for the first episode or two of each season of the shows (Road Rules also) to see if there is anyone really interesting, but there usually isn't. Maybe this is what happens when I'm in my 30's... MTV shows just don't hold the appeal for me that they did in the past.
We did catch some of the recent Inferno challenge episodes during a marathon. It was a slow boring Saturday afternoon, we had nothing better to do. It was fun to watch, but the whole drama with Beth was just to much. So I found a book to read instead.
Ok... enough about me.
I enjoyed your parts of the Miami season, and when we see you on the challenges. I feel you have done a good job of being a multi-dimensional queer man in the harsh unreality of MTV. Thank you for being another out face in television.
