I had my eleventh trainer session today, since starting on May 23rd. Of course I've gone lots and lots of times without the trainer. We typically meet once a week, though we occasionally skip a week or two.

During my previous session last week, I asked if we could measure again to reevaluate how I'm doing. After all the measurements it came out to be about a 2.4% body fat decrease, which is pretty good I guess. Size wise, my chest and waist decreased, my left arm increased and my right arm decreased (so they are even now), and my legs increased a bit. 

The trainer discovered that her math skills aren't very good today. When she added up my new measurements to calculate body fat percentage, it came out to be 18.x (I don't remember what x is). This was strange because her calculation for my starting percentage in May was 18.x. So she recalculated the May measurements and it turns out I was at 21.x. So I have officially crossed that unfit/fit border.

She also introduced me to a new routine today. This is my third routine with her. The other two were split routines, but the new one is a whole body routine. We increased the weight, but decreased the reps. I used to think lunges were my least favorite exercise... now its pull ups.

I went from about 180 pounds in May to 172 pounds today.

I'm pretty happy with this experience. I want to make sure I maintain my motivation.
