Of course, I really can't directly address this power imbalance because I'm not involved in that kind of interaction with females. They all seem pretty tough and scary to me!

I'm always been a prettty "open soure" kind of guy, as long as someone asks. I have no problem saying no, but I hate it when other people say no for me.

It's been an interesting brouhaha. I still get surprised when I find friends (not just in the LJ sense, either) on opposite ends of a feisty kerfluffle.
